The average price of petrol across the UK reduced by 6p a litre in December to under 147p (146.69p), making for two consecutive monthly falls, shows data from RAC Fuel Watch. Fuel prices still a rip-off for motorists
While December saw the average price of fuel fall by 9p a litre saving drivers £5 a tank, the RAC believes drivers should have seen much bigger drops due to far lower wholesale costs. Demand for Welsh mobile mechanics surges during pandemic
