Drink-driving is rising again
There were 260 deaths on Britain’s roads in 2021 where a motorist was over the drink drive limit – an alarming increase of 18% over the previous year and the highest since 2009. Britain cossets a nation of flashy drivers. DVLA review is underway to cut costs
An independent review has started into the DVLA, headquartered in Swansea & employing 6,000 staff.
